Two upcoming Arlington SEPAC events

Tuesday, March 6 – SEPAC Meeting

Meetings are held at the Jefferson Cutter House, corner of Mystic St. and Mass Ave. 8:30AM-10AM.

Kathleen Lockyer will be unable to attend this meeting leaving us open to a more casual forum. Anyone who would like to come and express areas of concern, give praise to, or address areas of need in Arlington Special Education is asked to attend as we begin to consider direction and events for next year.

Agenda:
1. Updates on the SEPAC efforts in subcommittee meetings about policy (reading services in IEPs) and budget (reduction in aides and proposed added staff and prof. development)
2. Q&A and what we would ask School Committee Candidates
Provide your input and questions for the upcoming School Committee candidate forum, that will be taped at ACMI studio.
3. Bylaw revisions

Wednesday, March 7, 11AM-12PM. IEP Workshop–Session 2 of Topics in Special Education.

This presentation will be filmed at the ACMI Cable studio. Come and be part of the live audience. Trish Orlovsky will present on the ins and outs of IEPs. Check the local CABLE schedule for broadcast schedule later this month. The second installment of our cable series–Topics in Special Education.
